Village of Shreve Unveils Strategic Action Plan to Shape a Thriving Future

Shreve, OH – The Village of Shreve is proud to announce the release of its 2024 Strategic Action Plan, a bold vision for the future of our community. Developed in collaboration with OHM Advisors and shaped by the dedicated efforts of local leaders and residents, this plan provides a roadmap for growth, revitalization, and investment over the next two to five years.

Spearheaded by Joan Zimmerly, Planning & Grant Administrator and OHM Advisors, this initiative reflects months of research, community input, and strategic planning. The plan outlines key priority projects, including improvements to Harold D. Miller Park, redevelopment of the former school site, enhancements to downtown streetscape & placemaking, and increased sidewalk connectivity. Each initiative is designed to strengthen Shreve’s infrastructure, economic vitality, and overall quality of life.

“This Strategic Action Plan is a testament to what we can accomplish when a community comes together with a shared vision,” said Mayor Josiah Martin. “Thanks to the leadership of Joan Zimmerly and the invaluable contributions of our Task Force Committee, this plan lays the foundation for a vibrant and thriving Shreve.”
